Voting isn't going to do anything. The machines can be tampered with. The parties are controlled. So what, besides a revolution, do you think can be done?

That is a bleak view.  He just posted that government funding has been cut for ACORN.  Wasn't it ACORN doing the tampering?  We have to keep an eye on them.

Also, you don't sound like the same person who wrote the following in the Christianity debate forum in the "Is God Separate" thread:

When we open up to infite possiblities we can do amazing things.. People can do magic, perform miracles, etc.

God-like.

Tapping into infinite potential beyond the accepted circuits of consciousness (attractor programs) is perceived as too much responsibility for most people, so instead of claiming that available power within themselves they look for it outside themselves, on the stage. This is a weaker, distorted way of trying to access the power.  They don't realize that they too are an access point of infinite potential. What clouds the power our belief systems that "ignore" it.

If this is so then, why don't you tell us what to do in what you think is a hopeless situation?  Why do we even need our government if this is the case?
