I did my own research and self-diagnosed myself with candida as I sit and wait for my next doctor appointment, I've been on candida-diet for the past 5 weeks and the list of things i'm taking l-glutamine, butyric cal-mag, goldenseal, omega 3, coconut oil, slippery elm, digestive enzymes, biotin, betaine. I also took Diflucan for 7 days straight and stopped because I didn't see anything that resembled yeast-candida in my stool. I'm starting to wonder whether I have candida or not because I have never cheated with my treatment. Only positive thing so far out of this experience is that I've lost 15lbs in 5 weeks because of this diet and feel less gassy. But all my other symptoms remain.
