My advice would be, the sooner you get it out, the better. For more stories of crashes and what to expect, I think you'll have better luck looking through the curezone Mirena forum, rather than the Birth Control Malfunction forum. There are a lot of us out there, and a lot of crash stories. I am 5 1/2 months post-Mirena, and having a horrible crash with a return of most of my major symptoms at the moment. However, I really didn't start crashing until 3 months post, and some women don't crash at all. Everybody is different, and maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones : ) best of luck to you!
