Thanks Hv for a very thorough and consice post, hopefully this will answer many questions that people may have about PH, and the role of both alkalis and acids in our bodies.

It also shows that there is no moral connection with either acids or bases, one is not bad, and the other good, they both play essential roles in maintaining a healthy body.
