I am pretty sure they are "as came out". The original poster did not know/suspect they were liver flukes. She posted a pic asking for help. It was Vidalia who figured that they were liver flukes.

As for how many, your guess is as good as mine. I can't even be 100% sure that they are liver flukes. Although they do look too big to be merely undigested food. And if they are food then the only thing they look like is mushrooms, and the poster swore that she hadn't had any mushrooms in a very long time.

So liver flukes sounds like the most likely explanation.
