I have this for number of years and beleive me I had the corticosteroid injections for years. The side effect of it is that it gives you a memory loss and whole lot of other side effects. As you said the combination of the two medications and the corticosteroid worked for you. Give it time, it will come back in full force, unless you continue with the shaving and whatever that worked for you with the shaving.
