Sorry for the delay in responding.

My philosophy is to hit them as hard as possible. And to maintain treatment until they are all dead!

If whatever treatment you are using does not expell adult worms within a week or less, either you arn't taking enough...or the treatment is ineffective.

Depending on how severe of parasite issue that one has, (very simply) herbs are wimpy compared to that of Rx meds. But I have had success with high doses of Clarkia ...both intestinal worms, as well as with larvae circulating throughout my other body tissues.

Augmenting Clarkia treatment by taking capsules as well, probably wouldn't hurt. And with myself sometimes having consumed as many as 50+ capsules/day for a week or more at a time...I do not believe there is a danger of ODing on the "big 3" herbal capsules.
