Re: Does drinking oil cause more stones?

I would say that the Liver Flush does NOT cause more stones. Stones are caused by a variety of things including transfats (not healthy fats), refined foods, drugs-street, OTC and prescription, excess stress, and parasites.
The large dose of olive oil taken when flushing causes the gallbladder to forcibly expel its contents. It should contain concentrated bile to begin to break down and digest the fats in our diet, but also contains stones, sludge, cholesterol flakes and sludge, plus toxins the liver was unable to process because of congestion.
Liver and gallbladder flushing is just an exaggerated version of a very natural process. There is nothing strange or unnatural about how it works. Everyday a healthy gallbladder and liver is flushing itself automatically. Its when we allow our bodies to become overly congested by unhealthy foods and unhealthy lifestyles that we must eventually intervene and take a stronger measure to flush out the waste our habits have helped create.
I believe its best to keep Liver Flushes as simple and natural as possible. Epsom Salt (to relax the bile ducts), acidic juice (to cleanse and enhance gallbladder conractions), and a healthy oil like olive oil are really all that is needed for a sucessful flush. I must admit that I also use apple juice to prepare for the flush and to mix with the ES to improve the taste.
