Re: Does drinking oil cause more stones?

Sorry to be so late, just catching up on postings. I understand your concern, as this question also occurred to me. This is how I resolved it.

Although I've consumed plenty fat in the past, currently I have a vegan diet that's very low in fat. The only fat sources I'm aware of are from avocadoes, wholemeal croissants and small quantities of seeds, e.g. sunflower seeds stuck to the outside of wholemeal bread rolls. I go for the seeds as I've read that the type of fat they contain is needed by the brain.

I'm about to turn 50 and have done 27 flushes since I started counting. Plenty stones still come out, bright green.

Given that my fat intake between flushes is so low - and hence my liver doesn't have much fat to make stones with - do you think it's possible my liver could pounce on the olive oil in the flush emulsion and convert every drop of it to stones? I'm not saying it's impossible, but ...

I think the real test will be if my liver becomes clear ... I wonder when that will be!

Deborah
