It just may be off - as in rancid?
We were using a walnut oil for a while and I couldīnt understand where my nausea was coming from (all of a sudden).... One day I felt the nausea when I just held the bottle of walnut oil in the hand... kineseology pure!!! and I just KNEW that was causing it. Stopped the oil and the nausea stopped.
