Though it is not usually the case, coconut oil can cause nausea in some people.  You might try taking a very small amount, perhaps with other food, and build up slowly.  That has been reported to work for  people who experience nausea with coconut oil, and often it appears that the body adjusts to coconut oil over time so that larger amounts of a couple of tablespoons can ultimately be taken daily.
