why me?14yrs old with graves disease

hello my name is elizabeth and im 14! i have hyperthyroidism and graves disease.i found out i had this disease when i was 13. im so scared im gaining weight because of my medicine. but before i knew i had the disease my weight was dropping rapidly. if i wouldent have gone to the doctor to see what was wrong the doctor sayed i would have died .that scares me! and makes me thankful because i am still alive. so i thank god that i am alive. but then again why me why so young. i try to explain to people and they just dont understand. people would talk about me and call me a druggy because they thought i was on drugs because i lost weight and gained it back so fast. i thought i would say something on this website to get to know people that are like me and well if you could email me back at toqut4u61616smile@hotmail.com or reply this message
