It doesn't matter why you want the IUD out, if you want it out, it should not be a problem to have it removed. My Nurse Practioner said I could have it removed and replaced the next day if I wanted to. Do not let medical staff intimidate you. I wouldn't suggest lying. Just tell them the truth. It's your body and your decision. It's best to report your symptoms of why you don't like it, so that they know the results for all their patients. That feedback will be helpful for them. Tweet
