Thyroid nodule and subclinical hyperthyroid

My friend(female age 24) has a cyst in her throat. The Endocrinologits has been next to no help and her next recommendation is a biopsy. Right now all we know is it is a thyroid nodule and her bloodtest results are as follows

T3, TOTAL 99 76-181 ng/dL
T4, FREE 0.9 0.8-1.8 ng/dL
TSH, 3RD GENERATION 0.11 L mIU/L

indicating subclinical hyperthyroid. Can anyone help lead me in the right direction for where I can discover what the appropriate steps to recover would be?
