Magnesium Oil Side effects

Newly converted, have been using Magnesium Oil made from Ancient Minerals 'flakes' dissolved in pure water.

Developed dry skin on hands, ( have been using for about a month now ). In the last couple of days a rash has developed on the back of my hands and on the elbows, and on the inside of my biceps which is in contact with my armpit. My arm pit is fine as is the rest of my body. I have been applying about the equivalent of 2 tea spoons full over arms legs and torso on a daily basis.

Can you 'over do it' ?

Also I have noticed a 'salty' taste in my mouth too.

I know that the Ancient Mineral stuff is 47.2% Magnesium chloride along with other minerals and salts.

does anyone know whether their oil is pure magnesium Chloride or just a saturated solution of their flakes.

Maybe it is a detox type thing. I understood that excess was passed thru ones bladder !
