Re: Periods after removal

I had a horrible time, its a long sory that sounds like yours, I had it 6 years (two different mirenas) until i finally figured out it was it that was making me sick and crazy, i had went to the doctor and had gotton tested for everything and every test would come back negative, and could not figure out why had night sweats, i wasnt myself at all, joint pain like crazy, my limbs would go numb or fall asleep all the time, my nerves twitched, the doctor was going to send me to a nerologist but i didnt have the money so i started doing my own research and came across a thing on birth control and then found these and many other sites that talked about all these women that had side effects just like me, i am 29 and feel so jaded that i wasnt aware of the possible side effects and my period has yet to come back and im worried it has done damage to my body that may not return to normal, did your doctor have any advice, my doctor didnt seem to believe me or thought i was making it up or something, but i know that it was the mirena and i did all i can do by having it removed but now what? will i ever be normal again? the symptoms are alot like menopause.......im so sad a wasted years of dealing with aches and pains , and sad that doctors are not figuring this out so it wont happen to others
