Re: course of action for shingles?

From what I read, shingles goes along a nerve, and will basically go from the spine around to the center of the body on the other side. It usually only mainfests in one area and on one side only. I've know people to have them on their heads, but ribs are the usual area.

The pain is exquisite and believe me, even something rubbing on it, or air blowing would be excrutiating. I was lucky that mine was fairly mild. That drug I took made it go away pretty fast.

As I said before there are very few drugs I would take, but for shingles?....yes I would do it again if I had to. I think I lucked out actually and didn't suffer long term pain. I have know many that have a lifetime condition.
