Re: 4 months post Mirena, reflux and dry eye in battle!

Hi Bass81..I also have dry eyes or something like it. Haven't been to the eye Dr. I am hoping everything gets better on its own. I forgot to get the progesterone cream in time for this cycle, but I am going to try it next month.I feel like i have something in my eyes sometime, a film of sorts. My heartburn also comes and goes. I need to keep better track and corolate my cycles with the symptoms. I had a Dr.s appt. yesterday. I e-mailed my general Dr.and told him about my discovery of Mirena and such. I hadn't been in to see him since early march. I had an EKG and treadmill test at the end of Feb. He looked at this site and was surprised at all the similarities of our symptoms. He did another cholesterol test, it had been high before, and that came back almost 40pts. lower than previous. I have lost 1o lbs., but other than that haven't changed much. I think the Mirena played a part in that.He said he looked up Mirena in his journals,but there was no info. He didn't think there much else to do, but wait it out. My blood work and heart were good. I know he thought Mirena was the culprit.They don't have any info because they deny it is the Mirena!
