When I cook I like to make extra and freeze it for later but I’m concerned about dioxins and chemicals leaching from freezer baggies and plastic containers. How do we know which plastics leach and which ones don’t? Rubbermaid claims that their food containers are safe for freezer and the Mayo Clinic R.D. claims that storing food in plastic containers is safe. I hope they are right but I’d rather find out the truth. Are there any research studies on the subject? Thx!~
