Re: thrush in baby's mouth

not doctor mom here, but I have dealt with thrush.
1. probiotics.. for you and baby (you can put it on your finger and in their mouth).. avoid strep in the probiotics acidophilus is the easiest to deal with.
2 paint babies mouth and your nipples with gentian violet (get over the counter). In the evening.
3. make sure your bras are well washed and sun dried. (if possible)
4. youcan take grapefruit seed extract and it will pass through to the baby though your breast milk and clear it up.

Thats what I finally did.. after I did the nystatin drops for WEEKS from my doctor.
