Actually, ya know what? Women are more likely to have problems with distance vision, men with close vision- it's genetic, comes from our hunter-gatherer past.

I had to look it up as I know two other couples that have the same "eye pattern", husband needs glasses for close vision, wife for distance.

My conjecture was that that went along quite nicely with the way we are, ya know, man making grand plans but fails to notice the dirty dishes...woman too busy with details to MAKE grand plans. lol, where's Anja?
