I haven't read that book but it sounds interesting, I'll check it out on Amazon.  

LOL, a little dirt never hurt anyone, in generations past they didn't use all the chemicals most use now to clean their fruit and veggies and it never hurt them so I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Yes, please do let us know how it turned out.  I'm going to let all my tinctures keep on tincturing until I need some then I'll just press what I need. I'm not going to harvest the whole jar when its ready.  It'll just get stronger the longer it stays tincturing.
