Re: Causes?

I completely agree with you. I ran track and field in school and college. I have friends "husband & wife team" who are marathon runners and I ran a half marathon with them 8 years ago. They constantly complain of joint pain every time they write me. I felt like the half marathon was so hard on my body and unhealthy for a female that I have never done another half. I started throwing my back out during a run once. The pain hit and suddenly all I could do was stand still. I was out by myself and it took me an hour to walk 7 blocks at the time. I don't even run outside anymore. I do use a cross trainer for running and walk my dogs instead. My do not have the constant joint pain that I use to have. I just do not believe it is healthy to bounce the female organs up and down like that for hours while hitting asphalt. (sorry sounds a bit weird)
