Re: Pain and Blood after enema - Help

You could have disturbed a hemorrhoid. One should not strain so hard ever! Causes hernia. I would hold off on the enemas for a while. Eat right, drink alot of water and watch your stools over the next few days for the appearance of blood. An enema of only 16 oz. is not much water so you should not exspect all of it to come out each time. Allow the water to stay in the colon longer by lying down on your left side. Don't hurry to expel it with force. Now large volume enemas 1L or more at one time will require some to expel some of the liquid. After I expel some of the liquid then I go lay down for 15-30 minutes on my left side for good results. Please visit this site and take this info to heart http://www.naturesplatform.com.
Click health benefits. Use this mode for elimination and you want have to strain ever!
