My thoughts on juice fasting and cold sheet

Well overall I had decent energy. Sometimes a lot. Depends on the time of day. Mental clarity was very good. I feel like it helped me study a lot. Made it a lot easier to wake up. It broke down some walls that I had. Mostly mental walls. It really opened up my spectrum of foods. I used to only eat vegetables, but it forced me to enjoy fruits. I wanted the full spectrum of nutrition available to me not only then, but in the future. Previously, I could not stand the texture of fruit, the taste was ok. Now I feel like I truly enjoy pretty much anything. I actually enjoy tomatoes, mangos and nectarines/peaches which I never would have touched in my previous life. The taste and texture aversion I had was totally dominating. Getting used to the juice and then just recently actually tasting the thing in whole form. Worked out really well for me.

During the cold sheet, I could feel the water going from my insides to my outsides and sweating it through. I felt like an RO membrane in reverse. Clean water in the middle, dirty water out. I had to pee sooo bad during the initial 15 minutes of having the sheet on. But once my temperature started going up and I started sweating the strong urge remained, but the ability was just not there. Glad I didn't, I used up all that water over the next 4 hours. Had a sizable urination a few hours later, maybe 1.5 cups at most. Less than 1/8 of the 12-13 cups of tea and 1Qt of water I ingested. Approx 15-16 cups overall.

I have been eating a decent diet for the last couple of years. Lots of fresh stuff, but a fair amount of pasta and meat. But I was always regular and within 20-30 minutes of a meal I would have a BM. The only mucoid plaque I noticed was early on in the fast. It was black, tubular, about 4 inches long and smelled very foul. I also had a Liver Flush stone about the size of my entire thumb come out during my 3rd flush, that was before I started fasting. Did the coke flush with ortho phos. I only noticed small green stones during the fast though.

I would highly recommend juice fasting. Its a hard core experience, undoubtedly, the longer you go the more you understand about yourself and how you feel in your body. But in this life... well... just try to keep it spicy, that's all I really have to say. There is nothing wrong with discomfort and intensity. They are experiences. You work through them and when you come out on the other side, you are stronger and that's a quality I needed. I crave inner strength. I would choose this over injecting myself with 200cc's of ozone daily for a year, any time. Note: I did that, it too was uncomfortable, but an experience I am glad that I endured.

I will do it once a year, probably for 2 weeks or a month again. I have recommended it to all of my friends and family and offered to shepherd them through it. My best friend, also a pre-med, watched me go through it and he is going to borrow my juicer and have a go at it for a week or two. He says " I want to see what comes out " so I will mix him up a nice batch of IF 2 and 1 and see how he comes out :) I hope he has a nice plaque come out because I am always commenting on his eating habits being very poor.

Hope that helps. 2-3 weeks is easy. Month+ well. I could tell my body wanted full food. It was done with liquid nutrition.
