The EFSA should be called the "Codex Testing Authority".  The agenda is quite clear - regulate supplements to the maximum extent possible and bring them under the control of the pharmaceutical companies and the agencies they control.  That way, the pharmaceutical companies can not only hugely profit from supplements that are used therapeutically, they can also make sure that in many instances improper forms and far less than therapeutic amounts are able to be dispensed - thus making their deliberately flawed studies which say that supplementation is ineffective and in some instances dangerous self-fulfilling.
