Re: Strong Odor after IUD removal

I know I smelled much different, and not in a good way, after removal. I kept thinking that maybe my washing machine wasn't washing as hot anymore, or I needed to switch detergent because my underwear would smell so awful. For me it was a sweaty, almost acidic smell, as if I'd been exercising and hadn't changed my clothes, but very, very strong and embarassing. Not a smell like BV or a yeast infection, though. Today is exactly 4 months after removal for me and I'm pleased to report that the odor is gone and has only occasionally made an appearance--usually directly before or after my period.
