While we're talking about liver flushes...Re: Quicky little ginger juice in liver flush question

I've finally figured out "what works best for me."

I really like doing the 5 day mild flush with the liver detox "Christmas" tea and the liver support "not even remotely close to Christmas" tincture. Schulze says it preps the liver, gall bladder, and biliary duct for the big job of the big liver flush. I do this Monday-Friday, every two weeks (when I am diligent). When I am completely well and strong, I believe I could cut back to seasonal flushes, as Schulze recommends for healthy folks.

Then on Friday nights, I do a big liver flush. I've tried it over 4 hours like Schulze describes, and I've tried doing it all at once, just sipping it through a straw like you do, Uny. I don't put garlic in the big liver flush. It's just olive oil and grapefruit juice, which is my citrus juice of choice. I usually throw the juice of lemon in there, because I AM brave. :) I have been adding a hunk of fresh ginger, but the ginger getting stuck in the straw was bugging me, hence the ginger juice question (love the pre-juice and freeze idea, Bundles/Uny =D).

You know, I've read Clark's and Kelley's directions, and they make it sound so scary and complicated. It's not. It's just wiggy because it's a lot of oil, and you want it to stay down. But if you gag and toss it back up, it's no biggie. Some of it gets in, and that's cool. I go to bed as per directions, and really have no trouble. Maybe it's the Epsom Salt push that gets folks upset? I dunno, 'cause I've never tried a flush with Epsom salt. I haven't figured out yet why two cancer healers were all for Epsom salt, and three cancer healers were dead set against any salt usage.

On Saturday mornings, I do a coffee enema (I try to do them every day anyway). Sometimes I get stones, sometimes I get sludge, sometimes I get grit/sand, and sometimes I get nothing. The important thing is to get the bile going, and coffee stimulates the liver to do that.

If I'm doing a juice fast, I just resume it, and if I'm eating, I like to have a fruit salad for breakfast or maybe a simple frozen berry smoothie. Something cleansing and refreshing.

Oh... all this assumes you are on IF #1-2 and your colon is working properly. Constipation and Liver Flushes do not mix.

To health,

Wings
