B12 shot

My doctor gave me a b12 injection about two weeks ago. I was on the low side of the normal range. I've been feeling so good lately-better than I have in years-that I decided to get a b vitamin complex.

Does anybody know if taking a multi vitamin, plus the b complex, on top of the b12 injection is too much b12? The amount of b12 in the multi and the complex aren't unusually high. Just what you would typically find in these.
