I don't trust a lot of elemental products. I prefer plant based because this is the way Nature designed it and what are body's were designed to use. Taking things out of the natural state often poses safety or effectiveness issues. For example organic germanium is very safe. But the germanium dioxide that some people tried to pass off as organic germanium caused 16 cases of kidney failure leading to the FDA's banning of germanium supplements. If we want to isolate and concentrate individual compounds to make them stronger or whatever why don't we just avoid the herbs altogether and go straight to the pharmaceuticals?
