Re: About Hveragerthi: TRUTH or LIES?

"DO NOT let your emotions control you, no matter how much you WANT something to exist or work. Don't give in and accept something just because it's easier or is too hard to figure out. There will always, in the end, be something that can convince you to one side if you search hard enough. " - #120638

Thanks so much for your experience. I know that I'm a victim. $100s in As-seen-on-TV. $1000s on health "cures". I cannot afford to continue this way anymore.

One big problem is lack of clinical evidence in trying to follow the natural, alternative health protocols and health substances, in contrast to the pharmaceutical research and clinical studies. One has to depend upon testimonials or anecdotal evidence. No one on this planet is like me. I am not normal. I'm convinced that nearly everyone can say that about themselves. So, testimonials are nearly worthless; unless there are hundreds of them.

Of course, you are right. Most people WANT "things" to work; and will find information residing on their side of the fence.

Another bothersome thing is the plethora of telemarketing calls. The telemarketers would not continue this, if they were not actually making a lot of money. This means that there are a lot of people that are gullible.
