I started with what I assume is a canker sore on the edge of the inside of my lip. It was just about 1/2 and inch from being on the outside of my lip. I have had canker sores before and it look and felt the same. It quickly spread and now I have 3 but these ones are half inside my lip and half on the outside of my mouth. The part that is on the outside is scabbing but the part in side looks and feels exactly like a canker sore. Then I got 3 on my tongue which just feel like swollen taste buds. I have never had a cold sore before I don't have any reason to believe that I should have recieved this virus from anywhere.
I have never seen a canker sore half on the inside and half on the outside of a lip. They are horrendous! and hurt. I've looked all over the web and every website says that the difference between a canker sore and cold sore is that cold sores are on the outside of the mouth and canker sores are on the inside. Mine are half way I am confused as to what they are!
Thank you
