Re: A Post NDE perspective of angels and chronic pain

I pray also that you remain pain free.

I think pain makes one hyper-vigilant
or sensitive to many nuances that many
would never pay attention too. Angels
and other dimensional realities, good
and bad, interface with our realities
and I agree, looking or listening for
those little signs can be reassuring
and a huge comfort. Perhaps it is from
my own NDE that I also am able to hear
warnings. I did not always listen though
so it took some tempering for me to see
the blessing for what it was. I listen
now and have trust that help will be
there when I need it. An example was
opening the door to step outside into
the dark and I "hear" a voice tell me
to turn on the light. I do and just
where I would have stepped is a snake
coiled up. A snake whose bite would have
taken me to the ER. Over and over again
I have been helped in countless ways.

I am not sure what the role of the pain
was. I had basically broken my neck when
I was thrown from a horse in 1976. It
took ten years for it to fuse and until
then, my own pain was a solid 10 every
day. It did make me stronger as you imagine
you cannot live with that kind of pain
and yet being a mother and a wife I was
more focused on living than dying. Each
day was another opportunity to make peace
with the pain. It took the best of my
inner strength to do it but not letting
it defeat me also was a major victory.
I do give credit to Source as I kept
telling myself what does not kill me
will make me stronger. It did make me
a much more compassionate person. Then
one day, I woke up and the pain was gone.
My neck had fused and even the limitations
the doctors had told me to expect were no
longer an issue. I can turn my head and
look over my shoulder. Of course, with
as much as I had and still do pray for
a miracle, I am not surprised that I had
found the healing I was looking for.

I think too, we hang onto our pain for
as long as we need it. It is not always
easy to discern why we do that but with
hindsight, I can see the lessons that
pain has taught me. Perhaps too, it may
be as simple as to be able to appreciate
health. I am highly motivated these days
to avoid pain so pay great attention to
my body mechanics and the way I consider
taking on stress and mental pain also.

In the river of life, going with the flow
is always the less painful way of living~~!

Heraclitus a Greek philosopher born in
544 BC said, “No man ever steps in the
same river twice, for it's not the same
river and he's not the same.

I wish you a joyful morning too. Reading
about your own journey made me remember
the way I walked when I also had Pain as
a companion on my healing path. While I
am glad we came to a fork in my journey
and Pain went one way, and I another,
I will never forget the lessons I learned.

Listening to Angels and my inner guidance
was one of them~!

blessings and best wishes,
Zoe
