Affirmations are so important...Re: Take these phrases out of the list.
I PMed Miss H and thanked her for this post. I had trouble coming up with a positive affirmation opposite "winning/losing the fight against muscular dystrophy." I spent about 45 minutes bawling as I attempted to retract/switch every word. I came up with "constantly basking in the gentle love and healing light of simple amazingness." This is my language. Each word is very powerful.
Miss H said she had one she said I could share it here: "my body heals in the most perfect and positive way, thank you for this experience and that I am stronger every day." Isn't that beautiful?
She said she had a book by Louise Haye called "You Can Heal Your Life." I think I'll get a copy. She told me the negative thoughts listed for MD. NAILED them. The affirmations to correct these thoughts? This is pretty intimate stuff, but I want to put it out there for my friends out there with MD that need to hear this. "It is safe for me to be alive. It is safe to be me. I am good enough as I am. I trust myself." I think I have some deep healing work ahead of me.
Y'all might want to get the book, too.
Thank you, sweet Miss H. :)
