thanks for the reply. The derm I'm seeing is through scott and white and so far he has been the only one to diagnose me. I first showed symptoms in '06 but with clindamycin and tetracyline it went away. Well now apparently I made it mad so it has taken over the back of my scalp. Have seen a little hair loss but thankfully not much..keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way!! My doc put me on doxycycline for six months and to quote him "right now we're just trying to get a fence around it so it doesn't go anywhere else." If the anitibiotics don't work then we'll probably move on to oral steriods...fun times to be had by all. Thanks for the reply really appreciate it!! Tweet
