What is CLO?

I was looking at kombucha culture supplements on the Internet last night. I started thinking about how I could make one myself from the SCOBY. Then I got the idea to run the SCOBY through a juicer. Do you think this would work?

I have a Samson juicer that would probably do a good job. I don't have a good SCOBY right now because I'm making kombuca from a commercial kombucha drink, and the SCOBY is like a blob of jello. I ordered a traditional SCOBY, and I plan to run it through the juicer as soon as I have a spare.

By the way, you obviously have a vast knowledge of fermenting. Please post some of the methods you use to ferment and some of your recipes. It would be a valuable addition to this forum.
