Re: Are Christians safe at Curezone anymore?

Justin, this whole deal has very little to do with christianity in my opinion. While the world is growing more and more hostile to christianity, and christians are hated sometimes for no other reason than that they are a christian, this isn't the case in this situation. I had a friend years ago that was a lot like ML. He was a christian too. He got fired at every job he ever had pretty much. He would call me and tell me it was because of his christian beliefs that he got fired. No it wasn't. And it wasn't because he wasn't a good worker either. He was. But he couldn't keep his mouth shut about everyone else. He couldn't just do his job. He had to manage everyone else too, and that wasn't part of his job. He would constantly put down the other workers. This is why he got fired, and this is why he wasn't very well liked everywhere he went. He did this in churches he was in too. When he wasn't liked there, he didn't say it was his beliefs then, but it would be some other reason, nothing he did though. He always had to blame others when he was rejected. He could never admit that people disliking him had anything to do with him.
My husband is very open with his beliefs. He is a christian and a conservative. And while he does irritate people with his beliefs (those that don't agree with him) he still wins most of them over. We had a neighbor for a few years that despises christianity with everything in him. He told us he had never been able to get along with christians ever, until us. My husband and him debated profusely, but always ended up hugging at the end. Now maybe the hugging part wouldn't have continued forever, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have, we've moved now :), but we left on good terms, and the debating friendship has continued through email. I've thought about the reason why my husband could have a descent relationship with someone that opposed our beliefs as much as he did, and I believe it is because my husband showed our neighbor respect and love, concern for him, etc. , and our neighbor was good to us too.
Anyway, my point is sometimes we need to take a look at ourselves, and see if maybe we are doing something to make people not like us, that maybe has nothing to do with our beliefs. I've made it pretty clear that I don't like how ML is to people, and I am a christian, and a conservative, so it's just not all about that.
