So what did the US do when they discovered Sadam had more oil they wanted to get their greedy hands on and NO weapons of mass destruction.... silenced him and thousands of iraqi civilians, after all the lies, press-manipulations and hysteria in the land of the "free"! That´s how your version of "Democracy - and Freedom of Speech" works. So in a sense you are all a bunch of slaves - lied to and enslaved by some ridiculous notion that you (US) can point your finger to the "axis of evil"!!! and bomb them - and the rest of us - with depleted uranium and BS.
