Jiaogulan Tea

I recall mentioning to you (somewhere) that I did not find the Plantary Grape Bitters all that bitter. You said that perhaps I am used to or like bitter tastes, which is partially true, depending on the source. In any event, I recently purchased Jiaogulan tea. I find that to be extraordinarily bitter. Of course I still drink it and assume it's a matter of conditioning. My question is do all bitter tasting things stimulate the vagus nerve and cause the liver to flush? 'Cause I kinda get a weird sensation in the liver area while drinking the tea but it could be my mind playing with me as per usual.
