Natural help for carpal tunnel syndrome with essential oils. (Maybe help with other syndromes?)
Hello - I have had problems with carpal tunnel for years, even learned to write with my left hand. This not surprisingly caused me to start having problems in the left hand, too.
The original cause was apparently hypothyroidism. However, meds have not made the CTS up and go away.
I found exercises for CTS to be somewhat helpful. Have done (still doing, its a battle) the
parasite cleanse, do the liver cleanse bimonthly, eat organic & try to avoid wheat, corn and sugar. I take B6 and many other supplements.
I use magnets, even made a special glove to draw with that has north-pole-side-touching magnets taped on it. Also, I put tons of cayenne pepper in my Kombucha.
All of that helped, but still if I drew too much or used the computer too much, and especially if I slept on my side without a hand brace (I find they have problems too and that the metal can press on the hands in ways that cause other kinds of problems) there would be that old tingle.
By "accident" - but people have prayed for me and I have prayed for myself and prayer is what has helped me the most, personally, in life - I found out that an essential oil blend I put on my feet at night was helping with the carpal tunnel very much!
For example, last night I forgot to use it, and whereas before my hands were not tingly in the morning, this morning I can feel it again.
Now I am just using the oils on my the palms of my hands and wrists before I go to be at night. You don't need a lot.
The base I use is grapeseed oil into which I have mixed high quality organic frankinsense, peppermint and rosemary oils. I just keep this in a big bottle to use at night.
Interestingly, very shortly after making my discovery about how it helped CTS I saw some info on Dr. Mercola's website about how all the products in that bottle are helpful to decrease inflamation!
Just fyi in case it helps anyone else. I don't yet know myself how much it is going to help me, but will be putting it to the test with more drawing than usual.
