High enema: Getting the tube around transverse/ascending-corner
Hi everyone,
as far as I understand there are 3 ways of doing a high enema:
1)Put the tube only into the descending colon and massage water around decending/transverse corner and later around transverse/ascending corner
2)Use a longer tube and push it around the descending/transverse corner. Later massage water around transverse/ascending corner
3)Use an even longer tube and push it around both corners.
So my question are:
- Which of the 3 methods is best. I would think number 3, because I would never be sure whether I can manage to massage enough water around the corners
- I want to try pushing the tube around both corners. How long should my tube be? Anything else that I need to know? I know I have to be really careful, do it gently, not use an enema tip.
- Why do we have to massage or put the tube around the corners at all? Doesn't the water that we're putting in automatically push the water that is already inside around those corners?
Anyone doing high enemas, let me/us know how you do them!
Healthiest Greetings,
