Re: IUD problems versus Celiac Disease?

Hey all, although I do scroll through this forum occasionally ( I have had Merina for 5+ yrs)..what brought me to Curezone was my Gallbladder..Lol. I am very interested in Holistic Nuutrition and Healing, and I knew there was a better way......other than surgery of course!
Over the last few years I realized that I really wanted to be on a "whole food" kind of diet..It felt right. If you couldn't kill it, dig it up or pick it from a tree or plant, than it wouldn't be on my plate. Later I learned about "The Paleo Diet" which is the same as above excluding grains and dairy. Hmmm...I went from "almost" vegan to carnivore..(reluctantly) I also increased my (natural) fat consumption A LOT!
I did several "Liver Flushes" and felt fantastic..the longer I ate this way the better I felt! I was never overwieght, but since I hit my 30's I felt I could drop 10-15 lbs..(2 little kids, high stress life!) It took a little bit but one week I dropped, oh maybe 8 lbs, and the bloat that I had attributed to my GB was gone. My life long battle with eczema, hayfever and other allergies was GONE!
The only thing of relevance I have come across since then was the " Blood Type Diet " which I immediately dismissed as BUNK! Lo and Behold..I was a type O..What should I eat? Meat, fat, veggies and fruit. LOL
Basically for type O's wheat, corn and other grains are not tolerated by our digestive system and react as "lectins" which cause an immuno response. Hmm..VERY interesting! I sooo wanted to be VEGAN..but I felt so damn good PALEO! The Paleo-style diet is Ideal for anyone who wants to A) regulate/reset insulin sensitivity.(Pre-diabetes and diabetes). B) build lean muscle, lose bloat and fat C) find reactive foods and avoid them. An Elimination Diet is ideal to identify which foods trigger reactions for you.
Long story short..(too late) I worked with many Celiac groups over the years, as I was a manager for an International Steakhouse chain..and the Gluten free folks could finally dine out! Steak and veggies..fish,chicken,shrimp..and veggies..no grains..and the all felt FANTASTIC!!
Celiac disease will cause symptoms that COULD be confused with Merena problems..but a simple week of avoiding grains (corn, wheat etc) and/or Dairy products should help clear the picture. Our bodies have not genetically adapted to the Agriculural Revolution..we used to hunt and gather our food..and from all accounts, the diseases of civilization (diabetes, heart disease, cancer) are the direct result of straying from the protocol that evolved us so much in the first place..think about it. And then look at that cereal bar or whatever you are gonna put in your mouth. Wheat? Corn? Milk? Read the damn ingredients for 1 week..and tell yourself how you feel:) You will natually eat foods in their whole form...there fore NO ingredient lists..your actual goal!
I have to address the whole Merina issue myself soon, My 5 years are up, and NO i will NOT have another one put in! LOL I almost passed out..and 5 months earlier had given birth naturally and would recommend it to anyone as a piece of cake..Bt not the IUD..but another post for another time...Feel free to contact m for any info on the above topics..my years of trial and error have ended in sharing..
