--answer--What about KELP...

Hi imaxfli,

Your question: My NOW Kelp lists dose of 325 mcg of "Natural" Iodine...if a person did 2X of this a day, would that be too much Iodine???

Answer: First of all one cannot compare taking Elemental Iodine to taking Kelp!

Why is this so?

Elemental iodine has NO Buffering capacity to prevent Poisoning from an Overdose!

Top Quality kelp may contain all the needed Buffering Live Carbons and other needed Alkaline Minerals to prevent Iodine Poisoning by way of kelp!

Why do you think all those folks chasing the Magic Purple Pill of Elemental Iodine are Constantly having what they want to call Detox reaction(Really Poisoning after effects)and always Seeking other Alkaline Minerals to take to try and Buffer the Poisonous effects of too much Elemental Iodine?

Cause and Effect!

Smile Tis your choice.
