A stent for kidney stone removal

I was diagnosed to have a 16mm x 9mm kidney stone last month. This month the pain got back again. I was adviced to take a stent between bladder and the kidney in order to help the urine to flow. The doctors were trying to push the kidney stone back to the kidney in order to break it down there with ultrasound. If it fails, I have to wait for 3 months before the urine way is larger due to the 8mm stent and break with a small hammer. Has anyone had a stent before? Tweet
