Re: Increased Iodine, Castor Oil Packs and Flu-Like Symptoms?

I'm sure Brownstein knows about Andy Cutler. I have respect for both of them but again - I gotta ride this 'already congested trap' action. Think about the Meineke commercials and all the plumbing commercials you've ever seeen. It's all calcified and gunked up. What will any chelator do? It will undoubtedly do these things (I speak from personal experience and will ignore anyone that argues with me because my convalescence speaks louder than your text book wanderings):

1) it will require minerals to chelate and keep your detox pathways supported (so that you CAN chelate) that you do not currently possess

2) supping with any isolated mineral until your terrain is cleared AND supported will undoubtedly unbalance other elements that no one is aware they needed until it seems to be gone

3) in the process of chelating (taking metals from one's body) minerals can be chelated. That's an unfortunate position to be in if you're already in a deficient state. For instance - IP6 lowered my folate and iron stores. As a girl with a genetic mutation that is *currently* making it hard for me to hold onto folate (which helps ya hold onto iron) that's important to me. Anyone that's anemic should really watch their butts. Am I saying that IP6 is a bad option? Nope. For one who's pathways are clear, supported and functioning isn't most likely very anemic - and could well get a lot out of a 30-day IP6 protocol.

4) if you do a little backreading, you can go over loads of arguments on chelation and Cutler's approach to a whole host of other approaches. Did I feel better with NAC and playing with DMSA, EDTA and the like? Um...yeah...but the body burden did not feel right. You'll notice in those older arguments that Cutler was said to have admitted (let's give him credit that this was at the beginning of designing the protocol) he did some kidney damage to himself. Playing with synthetic elements before your body is ready is a difficult task to master. Now - it's a catch 22 because you don't feel well and only people that have really been there can get that. I get that.

It's all gambling. If there were a gambler's anonymous for supps & protocols - hell - most of us would be in a circle with a cup of cheap robusta coffee in one hand and a brominated donut in the other. (yes - I made a cheap shot at 12-step support groups and I've been so meeeahhh - I can make funnies.) lolol

5) even ziolite is touted to be full of aluminum. I like ziolite and I felt better on it. It's liquid volcanic ash but when you're ill any precautions sound louder, don't they? I think ziolite worked well because it wasn't a preparation that required chi to break it down and send it into my intestine. Certainly that's part of the brilliance behind homeopathy and tincturing.

Whatever protocol you choose to do next I strongly suggest you follow this particular code. I've worked for years to find this horrible metaphor for explaining where we all go wrong (yes I said it) with protocoling.

*****You must clear your dead off the battlefield before you get your troops ready to march again.***** Throughout history you read about these breaks that both sides took in a battle. Why? Out of respect? I don't think so. Taking an abstract perspective about this we see that marching over dead and decaying matter would 1) slow down your troops and make things exponentially more difficult, 2) make your men ill and therefore lower your efficacy even further.

What does this mean? It means that Bechamp was correct and he's spinning in his niche everytime someone gets a lightbulb for this.

Clear your field, prepare your arms. Don't be silly. Make sure your camp is tight and in tip top shape. Have your troops been fed? Are they rested? Do you HAVE a battle plan? No? Then you'll wait till spring to march. Ya know? If you prepare your strategy for making sure your troops are taken care of then you pulse. Clear the field after a battle. Rest, eat - then grab your gun and get 'er done.

Clear your body of accumulation - it is your field. Once your body is relatively free of accumulation (chronic illness means your methylation is broken which means clearing accumulation takes a loving and steady hand and you might not get it perfect before you go in for battle but you must be even more cautious than the average bear here) then you can pick a robust protocol that will move you further away from imbalance.

HOWEVER - if your field is not clear and you send ANYTHING down the pike (with very few exceptions) you will cause your body to 1) slow it's elimination based on sheer square footage and mineral supply vs. demand 2) deplete more electrolytes because they are ESSENTIAL in peristalsis 3) trigger your body to make more mucous and candida to encapsulate and shield itself from reabsorption and all of this means an exponential backstep in your process.

If we were cautious and careful as a good leader in battle we would know we had to be efficient, strategic and collected. If you take a robust sweep while supporting and gently cleansing then you've got a pretty tight system where no reabsorption of chemicals is happening. And what that means is that your appropriation of minerals is where you want it to be. That means you've got a green light to try something even more hard core just after that. But going hard core before your terrain is anywhere near ready will set your further behind than you rightly deserve to be.

Honest Abe - I speak from my heart on this.

Bright Blessings!!

Miss H
