I started the SCD with constipation problems. I do eat figs and prunes throughout the day, but I have also found taking magnesium citrate 3-4 times a day (you need to find the dose that's right for you - I take pretty high doses of around 1500mg/day) and activated Vitamin B6 twice a day to be very helpful. The B6 helps you absorb the magnesium, so don't try one without the other.
