I get constipated very easily if I don't eat whole grains like whole wheat or oatmeal regularly. The problem is that sometimes my stomach can handle these foods (usually in the morning) and other times I get an insane amount of discomfort, gas, and bloating (usually if I eat these foods in the evening).
I discovered SCD and it seemed like a great concept. However, when I try to follow the diet I always end up cutting it short due to becoming very constipated within a day or two. So my question is, is there anyway to get on the SCD yet still go to the bathroom easily? I know some may suggest prunes but they make my stomach hurt. I would love to hear from someone who's been in a similar situation. Thanks.
