Re: shooting and spasming rib cage pain

I was so happy to read that someone else is experiencing the same pain as I have been having. I was starting to think I was crazy. I also had my gallbladder out a few years ago and have been experiencing right lower rib cage pain with pain through to the back. I am thinking that I really didn't need my gallbladder out as this is the same type of pain I have been having for a number of years. I can remember going to the doctor approximately 15 years ago and he couldn't figure it out either. It seems to "flare" at times (like right now) and I have also been experiencing muscle cramps/strains like crazy. I have woke up with "charlie horses" recently in both of my calf muscles, and pulled my neck muscles by just bending over drying off after a shower. I have suffered from fibromyalgia for a number of years and was thinking maybe it was related to that but if it is, I have never experienced such muscle pulls or strained feelings. I have been using a heating pad on the ribs and back and taking alot of Tylenol to take the edge off but it just keeps coming right back. Have you tried massage therapy? I wonder if that will help?
