Re: sore ribcage

Hi Nervousnelly:

I don't recall doing anything strenous to cause the right rib pain. Mine came on during heavy stress, but the pain hasn't gone away. There's a spot at the bottom of the rib cage that is very sore to press down on. Costochondritis is supposed to affect the cartilage of the ribs, which seems to be the case. The daily constant pain is bearable though, not excrutiating. I've been putting up with lower back pain and sciatica for 6 years now, so this is just an added extra. Ha! Initially I thought I had a stone stuck - it seemed to feel worse after my first few flushes, so who knows? When you say a Neurologist told you it was neurological, does that mean it's all in our head? Don't think so!

Let me know too if you find out anything more. I've checked out web sites on Costochondritis, but it's not supposed to last so long...
