Re: Folliculitis on my neck, legs, and stomach
Hi John,
I've had scalp folliculitis for a long time, but occasionally I've had some spots on my chest, leg, or arm.
Your spots look exactly the same as mine were.
From my experiences, these are my recommendations for you. We all use different things, but for me, this works best, and clears mine up very quickly.
1. Shave the infected area as best as possible.
2. Spray the area with H202 (hydrogen peroxide), and leave to dry for about 10 minutes.
3. Dab oil of oregano onto the spots with your little finger (you only need tiny amounts).
4. After 1 or 2 days, when you feel the infection disappear, still dab oregano at nighttime, before bed, but mix it with a little lavender oil if possible.
The lavender oil dilutes the oregano, which is very strong, and also helps the spot scars to heal more quickly.
If oregano doesn't work, try lemongrass oil. They are both very potent, and will make your skin red at first (only for a few minutes), but you get used to them quickly.
I also found that as one spot disappears, another pops up on another part of my body. This is annoying at first, but be patient, and gradually, if you persevere, over a few weeks, the infection loses its strength, and the spots become less and less.
A 10ml bottle of either oil will last at least 1-2 months, maybe longer.
Good luck!
